You can add these essential oils to your skincare regimen by mixing them into your skincare products. You can also simply buy products that contain these oils them. Best Anti-Aging Oils for Skin
Hey everyone. It’s Maria here. Welcome back to another tip Tuesday video today, we’re going to be talking about essential oils and specifically anti-aging essential oils. So I’ve chosen my top three favorite ones that I feel have the most benefits for anti-aging properties on the skin. And I’m going to be giving you a quick little summary on those, the benefits and how to use them.
So skincare products nowadays definitely contain essential oils. I feel like sometimes it can be a bit confusing, which ones you need, which ones are, you know, for the best benefits on your skin. So I thought I would start out this week with the anti-aging oils. There are several out there, and if you are a fan of, um, facial serums, oil or otherwise, and you know, the green.
Beauty moisturizer brands that are out there right now. Definitely, you have come across some of these essential oils.
Which ones are my three favorites? So I’m going to start with the order that I, um, I love the men, I guess. So the first one would be frankincense essential oil. The second one is lavender.
You should definitely never have lavender missing from your household. You can do without that one. And then the last one is Elaine. Sorry, tell you a little bit about the benefits of these on the skin, so you can understand how they can benefit your skin and the anti-aging properties that they offer.
Frankincense
But I also want you to understand that it’s also the aromatherapy benefits that they offer while you’re using them on your skin and in your skincare. So starting off with frankincense, I absolutely adore frankincense. Frankincense is the King of essential oils. It has been recovered for its ability to rejuvenate and beautify the skin.
And if you use it at night time in your skincare, you can definitely tell the difference. When you wake up the next morning, frankincense essential oil has been used. Since antiquity by engine civilizations, it was used in religious ceremonies and it was also made into solves to suit the scheme you during, uh, religious ceremonies.
If your skincare does not already contain it, if you have, I haven’t smelled frankincense essential oil. It has a really strong smell. It is very earthy. I feel like it’s grounding. It’s almost like nothing else out there I feel.
But the other thing is that, you know, when you’re using it in your skincare, that you’re getting the benefits of the aromatherapy of these oils. So the aroma of frankincense promotes feelings of satisfaction. Peace relaxation and also overall wellness. So this is, what’s so beneficial about using essential oils in your skincare because your skin gets to reap the benefits, but also you are just kind of like transported into these, um, better into this better mood, I guess I want to say.
Lavender
Of course, you know, you are taking care of yourself, so it kind of all feeds into each other. The second oil I want to talk about is lavender. Lavender is something that’s never missing from my household. I love adding a couple of drops into my kids, a bath, um, in the evening, but it also has amazing benefits for the skin.
Again, very similar to frankincense, it was used by the ancient Egyptians and the Romans. Bathing cooking relaxation. Um, and of course for perfume. All right. And, uh, went up, it’s applied topically. It’s very beneficial in reducing, um, imperfections from the skin. So this would be a really good one to use for the aging benefits, but it’s also a fantastic essential oil to use.
If you suffer from acne or other problems, um, on your skin. Now lavender, of course, we know that it has calming and relaxing properties. And this is, you know, the main reason that it’s mostly used, um, you know, to diffuse around the house or to put on your pillow, but it also has amazing benefits for the skin.
So if you’ve never used lavender, On your skin, uh, you know, please do I have several products in my store that contains lavender essential oil and of course frankincense, um, you know, but if you have a bottle at home, if you like to have your own essential oils is really handy, keeping a bottle around because there are so many different things that you can do with it.
Ylang Ylang
And the third one I want to talk about. And it’s not something that a lot of people talk about. Uh, I guess the soil is not right. Um, is Ylang Ylang. Okay, so Ylang Ylang again, just like the other two oils, frankincense and lavender. It has been used since antiquity, um, you know, for centuries in religion.
Ceremonies in wedding ceremonies. Um, of course in perfume and also aromatherapy in products, um, it has protective properties for the skin and also the hair. So this one would be a really nice one to add to hair oil. If you are using hair oil, it will help you. Your hair smells really nice. And also it would protect the hair shaft as well.
So in aromatherapy, the smell of the Ylang Ylang is also, it’s very unique when I can’t open my bottle. Okay. It’s very unique, but it’s also floral. So you have to, you have to really, really like this type of smell floral, but not too florally. Does that make sense? So Elaine in YLang Ylang in aromatherapy, it’s amazing for lessening tension and also stress.
Side Note, Ylang Ylang…
It promotes a positive outlook. All right. So a fantastic oil as well to be used during you know, this time where you might be feeling a little bit more stressed with what’s going on in the world right now. Okay. So how would you use these essential oils? All right. Um, for your skin. So of course, if you have oil at home that contains those, that’s fantastic, but you might also have oil that contains only one of these.
So let’s say for example, um, you know, the argument frankincense oil that I have in this. The store from Helena Lane contains frankincense. It also contains narrowly, but you might feel like I’m experimenting and putting something else in there. Okay. Or maybe you have an oil that is just playing again, or you have an oil that is just, you know, like playing Rosehip.
Overview of Oils
Those oils are fantastic for anti-aging benefits. So, um, you know, to go back to that, because we are talking about anti-aging oils. So if you want to use. Uh, some of your essential oils, you can do that by creating your own custom blend. So for a two-ounce bottle, you need to use 20 drops. A lot of the serum bottles.
I find they are one-ounce bottles for something like this, you would use 10 drops and you can play around with the mix. Okay. So you could use, you know, like five and then I don’t know, three and two. Something like this or 10 drops for a one-ounce bottle, uh, play around, or you can just choose one of these and then just do all 10 drops of one essential oil.
Now a lot of essential oils are also found in Tony myths. So these are sure, you know, beautiful flower waters that you can just, you know, missed on the scan. And this one here, for example, by cocoon apothecary, this is a pure Rose hydrosol. So I feel like frankincense would pair really well with this, but also of course, uh, you know, lavender, even the Lang Lang.
No fear with Oils…
So. Play around and you can actually customize your skincare. And I also feel like if you have a favorite oil or if you have a favorite mess, then you’re using it all the time. It can actually help also like spruce up your oil or missed a little bit and create kind of a different scent or a different kind of mood by adding in a little bit of essential oil.
Make your own Oil Serum
It’s also very, very easy to make your own oil serum. So I haven’t oil here, a facial oil that was gifted to me. And this one here, it doesn’t contain any essential oils at all. This is again a one-ounce bottle and it contains a beautiful blend of carrier oils. Are these are these are yours. Or oils, you’re playing oil such as ropes, hips, such as avocado or Hoba.
Um, so beautiful blend of those oils, but no essential oils. So it’s always really useful to have plain oil around the house. I feel like that’s really essential, you know, whether, um, you might have any sensitivities to essential oil or maybe you are pregnant. It’s always really great to stay away from, um, a lot of, uh, Sense.
And especially, uh, essential oils can be a contraindication for a few different conditions. Also, they can be a contraindication for pregnancy. So, uh, you know, but you can also, if you if it’s safe for you to be using essential oils, you could take your oil serum and as you’re using it in the evening, maybe you’re using it for oil cleansing or you are using it to massage your face.
Just a few drops…
You can simply just take a few drops of your oil. Auditing to the Palm of your hand. This is pretty much how I do it every evening. And then you take your essential oils. I’m going to use frankincense for this one. I’m just going to do two drops into the little pool that I had in my, on my hand. And then I just blended into my hands. I warm it up and then I just press it onto my skin.
You can get the top of your hands, breathe that in and give your face a really nice, uh, massage with the oil. And just take a little bit of time for yourself. So just to summarize the best anti-aging essential oils are frankincense lavender and the Lang Lang these can be beautifully mixed in some of the carrier oils that you have at home.
The best carrier oils for mature skin are avocado sweet almond oil, Rosehip arguing is always a good one to have around fantastic for the hair as well. Okay. So, thank you so much for watching.
